The following documentation provides pre and post-test scores for first grade children being taught Discover Intensive Phonics for Yourself while attending Barnett Elementary School in Payson, UT. Using the Gates-Macgintie assessment, children were pre-tested in September and post-tested in February (6 months). One of the three classes was a Chapter I contained class.
