As its name implies, Ready for Adult (Young Adult) Phonics is a program that never allows the learning intensity to slacken. It takes into consideration the life experience of young or adult learners, the need to nurture confidence, and the time constraints when working with this program. It never says learning English is easy, but it uses a very positive "You can do it!" approach. Rather than talking down to students, it compels achievement in a sensitive, friendly, and often humorous manner. Music, songs, stories, and live action footage - directly related to reading lessons - enliven the pace, hold student interest, and make going forward a positive experience. It essentially covers the same material in Ready for Phonics and Beyond Phonics, but with the young adult and adult perspective in mind.
